Luna Park Project

Our Luna Park Project namely known as ‘Kids Day Out’ is a program that has been developed for refugees and their families to spend an entire day out at Luna Park Sydney with their families.

Our active volunteers have been offering support services to the kids and their families on a monthly basis during this event. This program runs on the last Sunday of each month and caters for both genders. An estimated 50 people attend and the funding is in kind-donation from Luna Park.

Our aim in engaging in these types of programs is to help create awareness of culture, diversity and inclusion. We want to ensure that these kids and their families are given opportunities to take time out and enjoy their time with their loved ones, particularly those families who may be extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged since moving to Australia.
