Hayat Circle is a culturally-safe, trauma-informed, Drug and Alcohol (AoD) recovery program for Muslims integrating addressing mental health issues, and fostering personal growth; grounded in Islamic values, compassionate, and professional care

Designed by a Muslim clinical psychologist and led by Muslim mental health clinicians and practitioners. 

What is Hayat Circle

A weekly support program for Muslim men facing addiction, trauma, or mental health challenges.

Delivered at Lakemba Mosque in Sydney, Hayat Circle combines:

  • Psychological support
  • Islamic spiritual guidance
  • Adopts the Tayba Foundation 12-Step Recovery model
  • Peer support and accountability

All within a safe, confidential environment.

Note: Muslim female recovery group will start in 2027.

Who It's For

Muslim men experiencing or recovering from addiction (substances or behavioural), in addition to:

  • Mental health challenges
  • Trauma or emotional distress
  • Isolation or identity struggles

Just walk-in with no referrals necessary.

Note: Late arrivals will not be able to attend the group. Attendees must be on time.
